New mechanics reference families
Three reference families support the mechanics added since the previous website edition. They use invented inputs and independently derived expectations. Here we explain what each asks and how its evidence can be reproduced, without replacing the older recorded product comparisons.
The source basis is 2fcd0b52648b94e91dfd56cac2d8ec04408da3b5. Reference regeneration checks reproduce committed expectations; they do not run the product solver or establish general engineering validation.
Shear deformation without pressure
A shear-flexible straight member deflects through bending and shear. For a simple tip-loaded cantilever, the familiar displacement terms are PL³/(3EI) and PL/(κGA). Comparing matched Euler–Bernoulli and Timoshenko cases helps isolate the effect of the selected formulation.
The pressure-free reference family includes matched beam-theory cases, supports and a line with a realized arc that remains Euler–Bernoulli. The source records an independent recomputation of its original set. The subsequently added arc cases and exact control are explicitly outside that first review; do not extend its review claim to them.

Combinations on the exact-pressure route
A weighted sum, a difference and an envelope answer different questions. A mechanics combination needs compatible operands. A difference compares solved states; an envelope selects extremes and does not represent one equilibrium state. Never interpret either as a new nonlinear solve.
The reference generator forms primitive and combined quantities with exact rational arithmetic and independent closed forms. It also checks factor-set decisions. Its README labels the references as author-derived and cross-checked, with independent refutation not yet recorded there.

Moving supports and moving ground
The pressure-free cases cover rigid-support movement, nonlinear-support ground, moving spring bases and rigid directions within mixed support records. Their generator enumerates support states in exact rational arithmetic, including boundaries at which more than one state can satisfy the conditions. The source describes author cross-checks, not completed independent refutation.

Reproduce the reference checks
In a separate checkout of the pinned SWBPIPE revision, run each command from the indicated directory. These default modes compare generated outputs with the committed files; do not use --write for a reproduction check.
